The grey short troll stood in a slouch against the wall. You stood on the opposite wiping blood away from his lip with your sleeve. It was strange; his blood was like a candy red, unlike your own.

"What the fuck," he stuttered when your hand came up to his face.

"Shut up you pussy. Even your burses are like a fuchsia colour, damn, so some guy just stuck his skated board out of no where?"

"I told you it was that Strider kid. Fucking Strider!"

"But you don't know which Strider…" it wasn't really a question but he answered it anyways.

"He had a hat on, I couldn't tell." He uncrossed his arms.

"Well it couldn't have been Dave then. Assuming that he meant to do it on purpose, do you even know why he'd do it?" You bent picking up your bag.

"I don't fucking know…"

You sighed. Dave wouldn't do that, unless there was a reason. Dave's bro isn't that cold either, Dirk doesn't wear a hat, and Bro is just plain weird…. Well I think it would have had to been Dave, he was the only Strider to own a skate board.

Speaking of Striders…

"Hey Stumpy," Dave called from the side.

"Fuck," Karkat stuttered.

"I heard what happened bro, Dirk thought you were Gamzee again." Dave crossed his arms and glanced in my direction.

"No fucking shit!" Karkat began to get angry, "Do I fucking look like that fucking stoner?!"

"Bro, calm your tits, Gamzee was bothering Dirk today so he grabbed my skateboard when he seen your freakish grey skin." Dave smirked in a laugh. "Whatever though, see ya bro."

Dave turned and walked away giving a slight flick of his wrist to indicate 'see ya'. Karkat's face became flushed with hate. You pulled your sleeves down and quickly took Karkat in a hug. He seemed to calm down when he inhaled your human scent in; intoxicating.

The bell rang to end the school day.

"Wanna hang out at my hive?" Karkat asked.

"Yeah, my parents are leaving anyways for the night; they like to go out a lot of Fridays." You smiled.

"Sure," he held his breath trying not to swear.

You and Karkat had met at the beginning of the high school year. He was known as a troll; short, stubby horns, sharp teeth, and lean. Not all of his 'kind' were the same though. Karkat stood out most for you, he was short which made you perfect height, and he was the closest to being a human. Although you'd like if he was a human, you preferred his troll body. It was fun to tease him and rub his horns; sometimes he'd purr like a kitten and other times it'd piss him sky high. You don't know much about why he is here; you had thought the world would be destroyed by now.

You and Karkat walked a few blocks down to his hive he shared with Gamzee, Nepeta, Equius, and Terezi. Terezi was a bit obsessed over Karkat and his red candy blood, you almost felt jealous but seemed to contain it within yourself. Equius was a bit mild for your type, Gamzee seemed to be in La-La-Land when ever you seen him. Nepeta was probably the cutest troll you have ever met. Nepeta was obsessed over Equius though so you didn't spend much time together. So you stuck with Karkat, the most clever, smart, kind, fucking soul you'd ever fuck meet! No, he was a great troll, but he seemed to be set off by everything. You found ways to keep him calm around you and more open. You found ways to let him lose his grip and slip out of his hatred shell. You figured this other Karkat was hiding, being protected by the mean selfish Karkat.

"Hi there _!" Nepeta clung to your arm.

"Hello, Nepeta, how are you?" you smiled.

"I'm great!" she purred. "Oh what happened to your finger?" she asked.

You looked down to your left hand; the tips of your fingers were a slightly red tint.

"Oh uh-" you were cut off.

"It smells like Karkitty…" She trailed off.

You tried not to panic, was it really that obvious?

"Yeah, I got hit by a fucking skate board, end of story." Karkat grabbed your hand and pulled you down the hallway where you could hear Gamzee honk his horn.

Gamzee knew what happened, that bastard!

Karkat slammed the door shut making you jump up a bit. His hand in a fist and his head low, he turned to you.

"I deserve more fucking respect! This irony is so unbearable I might just kill myself laughing. I'm the fucking leader but every one treats me like I'm a fucking low…." He stopped himself catching his breath, "…. Low blood…."

It pained you to hear him with such a week voice. He may be the leader, but he is still low blood. Sometimes it just didn't make sense.

"Fuck, _." He cursed your name.

"Karkat," you put your hand on his back.

You realised you still had his blood on your fingers. Karkat turned and grasped your left hand. As fast as it had happened, he had your fingers up to his mouth. His jaw opened revealing sharp teeth and a wet thick red muscle. His tongue grazed over your fingers taking the blood away. Your face began to flush under the circumstances.

"You couldn't have just let me wash my hands?" you asked,

"No," he smirked, "I just need to calm down."

He let go of your hand and wiped his eyes. He looked tired but he sat on his computer and typed in commands and what not. You had no idea the kind of shit he did on there. He was probably pestering your friends. He sat there like he totally forgot about you.

You sat on his bed behind the computer desk.

"So," you began.

"Yeah just wait, fucking Sollux wants me to try out this new plug-in for Pesterchum." You glanced over his shoulder as he sighed.

"What kind of plug-in?" you asked.

You had seen a bar on the computer fill to one hundred percent and then a file open. Karkat clicked on the file and extracted it, and then he clicked on Pesterchum and ran the files through. The screen took a while to load; finally Pesterchum opened and had a completely different design, the icons were different and so forth.

"This is bull shit," he laughed. "The only thing new is the this button." He moved to curser over to a small button that enabled the user to become invisible and away.

"Sollux is such a brilliant troll," you laughed.

Karkat turned the screen off and faced you. You were still leaning over his shoulder but now you were pretty much face to face. He breathed in your human odour and slacked back into his chair. His eyes were closed; delicate black eyelashes brushed his blushing cheeks. He was blushing? Why? You looked at him curiously to see why he was flush, you felt his hand touch your knee. You looked down to see your leg had come in between his legs, right, between, his legs….

You quickly pulled away, "Oh I'm so sorry Karkat!" your face flushed red.

"Don't fucking worry about it," Karkat sat up fixing his pants.

It must have happened when he turned; you leaned in as he slouched down in his chair cause your knee to slip up to his, well what ever he had there. You sat back on the bed embarrassed of what just happened. He kept your gaze down. You never felt Karkat approach behind you.

His hands wrapped around your shoulders. "I said I was sorry," you whispered.

"And I said it was fine," his voice vibrated against your back.

He snuck beside you and then in front of you again. "You know, that you make me crazy." His hand reached to your chin tilting it up. "But your sent makes me so calm at the same time," his eyes gazed upon yours.

"Karkat." You stood.

"So many different feelings," he pulled you closer. "I'm so red, you know that, so why haven't you done anything about it?"

You were confused, but then quickly understood; Karkat loved you, you loved him back just as equally and both knew this. So why didn't you make a first move when Karkat was too shy? Now finally he had you alone, in his hive, where you'd spend the rest of your time with these red feelings. Your scent drove him crazy; it made him calm but full of excitement. It pulled at his feelings and turned them into something he's not.

Your head reached across filling the spaces between you and him. You lips softly folded over Karkat's. His hand slipped around your neck tangling them in your hair. Thank Gog you were the same height as him. His lips slightly opened, your tongue found the sharp teeth and his tongue. An invigorating taste overcame your mouth. Your hands reached up to Karkat's warm red flush face. His skin was hot on your cold finger tips. For as long as you can remember, you were a cold person. Now you have this warm candy red troll to keep you warm. His other self, Kankri was always cold, you'd assume it had been passed onto Karkat, that's probably why he always wore that cancerous long sleeved sweat shirt.

"_," his voice was soft. "Lay down," he whispered letting the kiss go.

You leaned against the bed and rested your head on the pillow. The light blared in your eyes but was soon turned off. The computer screen left a nice glow in the darkness.

Karkat leaned over you unzipping your sweater. You were a bit embarrassed by this.

"Fuck, you're too much for me, _" he smiled in the darkness.

"What do you mean?" you asked unsure.

"I mean, I can hardly keep myself from ripping your shirt off." Smirking he tugged on your long sleeve shirt.

You sat up and took off the remaining tops. Warm hands crawled up your small frame gliding you down again. Karkat's lips found your neck and began to lick repeatedly making you tense. He pushed on top of you, biting and licking at the soft flesh around your jaw. His teeth grazed and nipped sending shivers up your back. The hot sweet breath against your cold sink ached to be warmed. You let your breath escape and fill into your lungs pushing your chest into Karkat's.

"Sorry," he breathed out lifting his weight off your body.

Karkat lifted you into his lap against the pillows along the wall behind you. His right hand supported your head as his left hand wondered to the small of your back. Soft lips soon found another spot that made you moan; he took his time engulfing your scent in and taste.

"Karkat," you whisper tugging at his shirt.

"Hmm." He lifted his arms taking off the black cancer sweat shirt and tossing it to the side.

His hands unclasped the hooks around you. Shivering as it was placed to the floor; you wrapped your arms around Karkat's neck pressing your bare chest to his.

"Why are you so cold?" there was a hind of pain in his raspy voice.

You let go slightly forming a small gap between your bodies. "I don't know."

You lay back down in the soft bed in Karkat's dark room. His lips trailed down you body in excitement. His lips meet the tip of your breasts. Licking and biting ever so gently; you couldn't restrain the urge to moan. You placed your hands on the sides of Karkat's horns and rubbed them gently at the base of his head. "Don't stop it," Karkat whispered as you let go for a second.

You placed your fingers on his horns rubbing them again. Karkat lifted his head and placed a kiss on your forehead. His lean frame rubbed yours as he moved back down to tug off your pants. You let go as he pulled them down rubbing his warm hands along your thighs. A flushed warm beating crossed your face; you were blushing. Karkat stood and took his pants off as well. He then leaned over you dragging a hand up to you hips. His right hand slipped beneath your underwear while his left hand felt the pulse of your blood in your neck. He kissed your jaw leaving trails behind as he found your mouth. Sharp teeth pinched your soft lower lip. You licked at his begging to taste is candy red tongue. Fingers combed through his dark raven hair to his horns. Your left hand caressed and rubbed the candy nub making Karkat purr even more. His weakness… You smiled to yourself knowing that Karkat would always respond to his horns.

"_, fuck, I think… we need a bucket…." His voice had a bit of sarcasm to it.

You two needed a bucket right from the start. You now knew how trolls managed to fill a good litre of genetic material. Once they started they didn't stop.

"You should have said something," you moaned as he hit your sweet spot over and over again. "Sooner!" you gasped, "Ah! Karkat!"

You tensed around his member causing him to moan and release the remaining fluids inside you.

"Fuck!" he called. "_!"

You slowed feeling both your hearts pound against each others bare skin. You crawled off of Karkat feeling the drips of his material run down your thighs. There was a large damp pool of candy red liquid all over the bed. Karkat just giggled and whipped the liquid off your legs with the blanket.

Karkat put his underwear back on leaving you to change. He grabbed the pile of blankets and tossed them into the hallway just as John and Dave walked by.

"What the fuck man!" Dave yelled.

You sat up quickly running to the door.

"Fuck, well that wasn't supposed to happen," Karkat laughed.

"Ah what the hell is this?!" John began rubbing off the red material that clung to his arms.

"You don't want to know," Terezi chuckled. "Wow Karkles," She sniffed.

"You shut the fuck up!" Karkat pointed at Terezi.

You stood behind Karkat a bit embarrassed.

"What is this shit Karkat?!" Dave yelled.

Nepeta came around the corner. "Awe Karkitty! You got Dave all gross!" she laughed.

Terezi pulled the blankets away and threw them into the laundry room.

John shuddered, "I think I know what it is…"

Dave looked from Karkat to Terezi and to John. The both ran out of the hive like killer bees were after them.

You both laughed redressing the bed with fresh linen. The soft bed still smelled like Karkat when you crawled in. Your sleepy eyes shut as Karkat bent over you to give you a good night kiss on the cheek.

"I love you so much, _. I promise to never be an ass hole around you from now on." Karkat smiled in the dark.

"I promise to never leave your side," you kissed him back and whispered, "I love you, Karkat," and rubbed his horns a bit before dozing off into a comforting sleep.
